Sciencify’25 Ignites the Spark of Innovation in Pune

Pune, April 19, 2025 – A spectacular celebration of science, innovation, and imagination came alive on 18 April at Sciencify’25, the flagship annual event hosted by the FunSmartism Intelligence Centre in Pune. With an electrifying atmosphere charged by youthful energy and intellectual curiosity, the event successfully united budding scientists, visionary educators, and passionate science enthusiasts under one roof.

The prestigious occasion was graced by Padma Shri awardee and former ISRO Director, Mr. Pramod Kale, who delivered an inspiring keynote address. Drawing from his remarkable journey in India’s space program, Mr. Kale shared invaluable insights and ignited the aspirations of students dreaming of contributing to the nation’s scientific future. His motivational message to “dream big and reach for the stars. When you reach for the stars you might not actually get one, but you will not come up with a fistful of mud either” said Pramod ji and it deeply resonated with the audience.

A key highlight of Sciencify’25 was the Inter-School Science Project Competition, where young innovators showcased extraordinary talent. From lots of submissions, 36 standout projects were selected, with the winners receiving accolades directly from Mr. Kale – a moment of immense pride for the participants and their mentors.

 

The event reinforced the vision of the FunSmartism Intelligence Centre to cultivate scientific temperament and creative problem-solving skills among students. “Sciencify’25 is more than just an event – it is a movement to shape future scientists, thinkers, and global leaders,” said one of the organisers.
