
Chandigarh, June 18: TajSATS, India’s largest airline catering company, a subsidiary of Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) today announced the opening of an in flight kitchen at Noida International Airport in Jewar.
Mr. Manish Gupta, Chief Executive Officer, TajSATS, said, “The facility marks a significant addition to TajSATS’ network, strengthening its presence in the Delhi NCR region and is a strategic step in aligning our capabilities with the next phase of aviation growth in India. As airport infrastructure develops, this facility in a high-growth corridor allows us to partner airlines while also enabling the growth of other institutional catering segments in the region.”
Strategically located within Noida International Airport, Jewar, the new in–flight kitchen will cater to both domestic and international carriers. Spanning 45,000 sq.ft, the facility is equipped to produce over 20,000 meals per day, with the flexibility to scale capacity as demand grows. A dedicated tasting room, ‘The Atelier,’ provides a collaborative platform for chefs and airline partners to conceptualise and present curated gourmet offerings.
The facility integrates advanced culinary and safety technologies, including X-ray machines, goods scanners and other modern operational equipment. It also houses expansive bonded and airline storage spaces to support client partnerships. Alongside aviation, the facility extends TajSATS’ presence in the Delhi NCR region to institutional and corporate segments through its subsidiary, Nekta Food Solutions Limited.
