Noida, Sept 28: Institute of Management Studies (IMS), Noida has been honoured with the prestigious ‘Excellence in Skill–Based & Value–Driven Learning’ award for its outstanding contribution to skill–based and value–driven education. The award was presented during the Times Now Education Summit 2026, held at Hotel Taj Palace, New Delhi. The award was received on behalf of IMS Noida by Professor Dr. Vartika Chaturvedi, Dean, IMS Noida, and Lokesh Vashisth.
Commenting on the recognition, Mr. Chirag Gupta, Vice President, IMS Noida, said, “Education today must prepare students not only with knowledge, but also with the ability to apply that knowledge meaningfully in the real world. Mr. Lokesh Vashisth said that Uttar Pradesh Technical Education Minister Mr. Ashish Patel presented the award to IMS Noida. He said the recognition reflects the institution’s continuous efforts to provide students with quality education along with practical knowledge, skill development and strong ethical values. He added that the institution places special emphasis on technical proficiency, leadership capabilities and practical training to prepare students in line with the evolving requirements of the industry. The recognition further reflects IMS Noida’s continued commitment to quality education and skill development.
Professor Dr. Vartika Chaturvedi said that IMS Noida focuses not only on students’ academic development but also provides them with opportunities to develop employability skills, practical knowledge, industry exposure and personality development. She said the institution aims to prepare students to meet the changing requirements of the industry and equip them to confidently face future challenges. She added that the recognition further strengthens IMS Noida’s commitment to skill–based, quality and value–driven education. The achievement is a reflection of the sustained efforts of the students, faculty members and the entire IMS family.
