Chandigarh, May 02: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd.), one of India’s leading automotive companies, announced its overall auto sales for April 2026 at 94,627 vehicles, marking a strong 14% year-on-year growth, including exports.

In the Utility Vehicles segment, the company recorded domestic sales of 56,331 units, reflecting an 8% growth compared to the same period last year. Total Utility Vehicle sales, including exports, stood at 57,833 units.
The Commercial Vehicles segment continued to contribute steadily, with domestic sales reaching 23,427 units across categories.
Sharing his perspective on the performance, Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd., said,
“The year 2027 has begun on a positive note in April by achieving SUV sales of 56,331 units, a growth of 8%, and total vehicle sales of 94,627 units, a 14% growth over the same month last year.”
Segment-wise Performance:
- Passenger Vehicles (Utility Vehicles):
56,331 units in April FY27 vs 52,330 units in April FY26, up 8% - Commercial Vehicles:
- LCV < 2T: 2,984 units, up 13%
- LCV 2T–3.5T: 20,443 units, up 7%
- 3-Wheelers: 9,899 units, up 81%
- Exports:
Total exports stood at 4,970 units, registering a robust 47% growth over 3,381 units in April FY26
The strong growth across segments highlights Mahindra’s continued momentum in both domestic and international markets, driven by sustained demand and a diversified product portfolio.
