Gurugram, Apr 03: Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL) launched the all-new Burgman Street in India. Building on the strong legacy and market presence of the first-generation Burgman Street, the second generation of Suzuki Burgman Street introduces a comprehensive set of upgrades across design, performance, and features. Together with an evolved overall vehicle concept, these enhancements deliver a fresher and more premium experience for customers in the luxury scooter segment.

Since its introduction in 2018, the Burgman Street has steadily grown to become one of the fastest-growing models in the 125cc scooter segment.

The New Burgman Street is offered in two variants: Burgman Street – Ride Connect Edition and Burgman Street – Ride Connect TFT Edition.

Designed for urban comfort and performance, the new Burgman Street features a lightweight yet rigid frame that contributes to improved handling and manoeuvrability. The tuned suspension setup and long wheelbase ensure stability while the Combined Brake System supports well-balanced braking performance. The scooter continues to offer a spacious and comfortable riding experience with its long, well-padded seat, flexible floorboard, and dedicated front footboards – reinforcing its position as a practical yet premium everyday scooter.
The new Burgman Street adopts a “Sleek Modern” design, realizing a sophisticated fusion of sharpness and elegance. The curvaceous bodywork is complemented by sharp character lines, creating premium and distinctive road presence. Enhancing its unique identity are body-mounted split-lens LED headlights with integrated position lights, compact LED turn signals, and an updated LED rear combination light. Metallic-finish emblems, a new dark smoked windscreen, and a stylish upswept muffler further elevates its premium appeal.
The new Burgman Street features the proven Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) engine platform, derived from trusted ACCESS engine. It offers reliability, smooth acceleration, fuel‑efficiency, and balanced performance, which ACCESS is also known for. The updated 124 cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled SOHC engine produces 6.2 kW power and 10.2 Nm of torque tuned to stronger low to mid-range performance, ensuring smooth, responsive and refined riding in everyday conditions.
Practicality remains a key strength of the Burgman Street. Enhancements include a 5.5-litre fuel tank for extended riding range and a tail-mounted fuel lid for convenient refuelling. A redesigned grab bar and aluminium pillion footpegs further improve comfort and quality.
Utility and convenience are further improved with a larger 24.6-litre underseat storage compartment, front storage pockets, dual utility hooks, and a USB charging outlet. Features such as Suzuki Easy Start System, side stand interlock, and waterproof switches ensure everyday convenience and reliability.
The Burgman Street Ride Connect TFT Edition further enhances the riding experience with a 4.2-inch colour TFT LCD screen and a keyless system, offering a more advanced, seamless, and premium riding interface complemented by answer-back function for added convenience and security.
