Mumbai, March 5th, 2024: The Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) concluded its 16th edition of ‘Vyapar – Driving Success, Together’, in Delhi today. The event brought together senior bureaucrats from the Delhi administration and ministries, eminent leaders from the automobile industry, and over 150 members of FADA.
Mr Kailash Gahlot, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister of Administrative Reforms, Transport, Home Department, Women & Child Development and Information & Technology, Govt of NCT of Delhi, inaugurated the event, alongside industry dignitaries, Mr. Manish Raj Singhania, President of FADA, and Ms Garima Misra, Chairperson – FADA Delhi.
Under the leadership of Mr Singhania and Ms Misra, the event featured engaging panel discussions on ease of doing business. Additionally, there was a keynote address on ‘Business Opportunity with Opening of RVSF & ATS’, followed by a Fireside Chat on Automotive Skilling with Mr. Vinkesh Gulati, Chairman – FADA Academy & Research and Vice President – ASDC.
Appreciating the FADA invitation to address the dealer community, Mr. Kailash Gahlot, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister of Administrative Reforms, Transport, Home Department, Women & Child Development and Information & Technology, Govt of NCT of Delhi expressed that, the association feels like an integral part of the family, consistently offering support and demonstrating dedication to the dynamic business environment. He emphasized the significant contributions made to the Delhi transport industry, highlighting the favorable business environment fostered by the Delhi government in the region.
He further highlighted that the government has successfully transitioned over 45 services to a faceless mode out of 47, resulting in more than 53 lakh registrations in the past two years. He believes that this achievement greatly enhances the ownership experience for consumers. Commending FADA’s vision to support state ITIs in skilling manpower, he proposed initiating these efforts from local unorganized service stations to empower the unskilled workforce of the nation.

FADA will collaborate with state-operated ITIs to provide them with the necessary resources to bring out skilled manpower for the automobile industry”
